Data Deletion

This page explains how to ask Resonics Technologies ("we", "us", or "our") to delete your data, including data from WhatsApp conversations. It applies to businesses that use our services and to individuals who have messaged those businesses.

It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Data This Covers

We build and operate WhatsApp Business (Cloud API) integrations for client businesses. Through these integrations we may process, on the client's behalf:

• Your WhatsApp phone number
• Your WhatsApp profile name
• Message content you sent or received
• Message metadata, such as timestamps and delivery status
• Lead or form details you shared in the chat

This page also covers information you have given us directly, for example through our enquiry form, email or our own WhatsApp number.

2. Who Can Request Deletion

Individuals (end users)

If you messaged a business on WhatsApp and that business uses a system we run, the business controls your data. We recommend contacting that business first. You may also write to us directly. We will delete your data from the systems we operate and notify the business concerned.

Businesses (our clients)

If you are a client, you may ask us to delete the data of a specific contact, or all data we hold for you, for example when your contract ends.

3. How to Request Deletion

Email info@resonics-tec.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

4. What to Include

• Your full name, and your business name if you are a client
• The WhatsApp phone number the data relates to, with country code
• If you are an individual, the name or WhatsApp number of the business you messaged
• What you want deleted: all of your data, or specific conversations or records
• Optionally, the approximate dates of your conversations, to help us locate them

5. Verification

To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm that you own the phone number, for example by sending a short message from that number or confirming a code we send to it.

We do not ask for identity documents.

6. How Long It Takes

• We acknowledge your request within 3 business days.
• We delete your data within 30 days of verifying your request.
• We confirm in writing, by email, once deletion is complete.
• Copies in backups are removed as those backups are overwritten in their normal cycle.

7. What We Cannot Delete

• Records we are required by law to keep, such as invoices and tax records
• Data held by Meta (WhatsApp) itself, which is governed by WhatsApp's Privacy Policy
• Messages already stored on your device or on the recipient's device

Where we cannot delete something, we will tell you why in our response.
